Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

With Russell T. Davies due to return to ‘Doctor Who’ as showrunner for the 60th anniversary and the Fourteenth Doctor era, it’s only fair that I check out some of his other work in preparation for his return. This includes checking out the upcoming ‘Doctor Who’ audio story ‘Mind of the Hodiac’ and RTD’s first BBC sci-fi drama for children’s TV called ‘Dark Season’. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Zootropolis’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Over the Christmas holidays in 2021, I saw the Disney film ‘Zootropolis’ on BBC One. I didn’t see it from beginning to end, but I managed to see most of the film when I was having my lunch on the day it was shown on TV. Lately, I’ve seen the complete film of ‘Zootropolis’ on Disney+, which is great. 🙂 Continue reading

It’s taken me a while to get around to this, but thankfully, I’ve made a start on doing in-depth reviews on each of the episodes of the BBC comedy series ‘It Ain’t Half Hot Mum’, created by ‘Dad’s Army’ creators Jimmy Perry and David Croft. I’ve created a new comedy page for the BBC comedy series itself on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I decided to share my thoughts on ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ once I finished the whole series. I recently shared my thoughts on the first two episodes in December 2021. I’ve greatly enjoyed ‘Around the World in 80 Days’, starring David Tennant. It’s a very well-put together period TV series. Continue reading

Blu-ray Reviews – ‘Sherlock’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Before we begin, I just want to give you a heads-up as to what you’re about to expect concerning these reviews I’m sharing today. These reviews are based on my personal experiences of a crime TV series I’ve watched on Blu-ray lately. They do not reflect other people’s opinions about ‘Sherlock’. 😐 Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘People Like Us’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Friday, I saw the film ‘People Like Us’ on Disney+. This was an unusual film to see. Even though the film was released by Disney, it was through Touchstone Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures. I’m not sure I would like to class it as a Disney film, due to the subject matter and its semi-adult content. Continue reading

I’m currently getting things ready in terms of reviews on ‘The Syndicate Master Plan’ season of ‘Doctor Who’ audios with Tom Baker’s Fourth Doctor and the ‘Dalek Universe’ audios with David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor. To that effect, I’ve created a new ‘Doctor Who Timeline’ for Ann Kelso/Anya Kingdom, as played by Jane Slavin in the Big Finish audios. Continue reading

The ‘LOTR’ radio series stars Ian Holm as Frodo Baggins, Michael Horden as Gandalf, Robert Stephens as Aragorn, John Le Mesurier as Bilbo Baggins, Peter Woodthorpe as Gollum and Bill Nighy as Samwise Gamgee.
