‘The Divergent Universe’ Review – ‘Scherzo’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s Easter time again and for this year’s Easter review season, we’re going to take a look at a season of ‘Doctor Who’ audios by Big Finish set in ‘The Divergent Universe’, starring Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor and India Fisher as Charley Pollard. The first story of the season is called ‘Scherzo’ by Robert Shearman. Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘San Francisco’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Apparently the sixth film in the series of black-and-white films I’ve been checking out recently turned out to be ‘The Gay Divorcee’ with Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, which I’ve already reviewed. I might end up doing a review on the 2011 film ‘The Artist’ sometime soon as well as do a blog post revisiting the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers film. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Swallows and Amazons’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s amazing to find that there are British films available on Disney+, including ones released by StudioCanal. As well as the two ‘Paddington’ films, there’s ‘The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society’ and there’s this 2016 film adaptation of ‘Swallows and Amazons’, which I’ve seen lately. CD Review – ‘Ravagers’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve finally made a start on checking out ‘The Ninth Doctor Adventures’ of ‘Doctor Who’ by Big Finish. Christopher Eccleston played the Ninth Doctor in Series 1 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series in 2005. Now he’s back to play the Doctor in a number of Big Finish audios. I’m sure it’s going to be fantastic to check them out! Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Morbius’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen the movie ‘Morbius’ at the cinema! 🙂 This is the third film in what is arguably called ‘Sony’s Spider-Man Universe’, even though Spider-Man doesn’t appear in it (yet). Honestly, you could’ve called this the ‘Sony Spider-Man Villain Universe’ in order for it to make sense. Is that unfair of me? Continue reading

Basement News – April 2022

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I hope everyone is keeping well at this time. I’m currently keeping well, though I did catch Covid in the first half of March. I’m a lot better since then. The vaccines and the booster jab I had have done their job. With that said, it’s still very important to keep safe in the turbulent times we live in. I’m glad things have eased in terms of restrictions in the UK, but I’m still wearing face masks to be on the safe side. Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘Psycho’ (1960)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, I’ve actually done it. I’ve reviewed the 1960 film ‘Psycho’ directed by Alfred Hitchcock. This is arguably one of Hitchcock’s well-known and best films compared to ‘Dial M For Murder’ and ‘North By Northwest’. With that said, does my opinion on the movie reflect on how other people view it these days? Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Partners In Crime’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Back in March, I gave my Mum her birthday present, which she enjoyed. Since she loves crime drama, I gave my Mum the 2015 series of Agatha Christie‘s ‘Partners In Crime’ on DVD. I’m glad she enjoyed it as well as me and my Dad. I’m saddened the series wasn’t renewed for a second season. 😦 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Uncharted’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

So, I’m not what you would call a video game expert. I’ve played video games in the past like the ‘Crash Bandicoot’ games; I’ve played ‘Star Trek: Voyager – Elite Force’ on my home computer; and I’ve even reviewed the ‘Spider-Man’ PS4 video game via YouTube to satisfy my Spider-Man curiosity. Continue reading
