Quick DVD Review – ‘Tom and Jerry: The Magic Ring’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for another ‘Tom and Jerry’ cartoon film to enjoy! Recently, I’ve seen ‘Tom and Jerry: The Magic Ring’ on DVD! Like many ‘Tom and Jerry’ films, this one’s pretty zany and full of slapstick where our cat and mouse duo get into the magic spells and they have an adventure with a magic ring. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘The Call of the Wild’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As you may have noticed, I’ve reviewed quite a number of dog films. These include the likes of the ‘Beethoven’ films; ‘Pudsey the Dog: The Movie’, ‘Patrick’, ‘A Dog’s Purpose’, ‘A Dog’s Journey’ and ‘The Dog Who Saved Christmas’ films. I’m not sure why I’m taken to seeing these dog-focused films. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Just in case you missed it yesterday, I’ve read and heard the novelization/audiobook of the ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘Survival’ by Rona Munro, featuring the Seventh Doctor and Ace. I’m happy I’ve read/heard the novelization/audiobook of this story. ‘Survival’ is read by Lisa Bowerman who played Karra in the TV story as well as Bernice Summerfield in the Big Finish audios of ‘Doctor Who’! 🙂 Continue reading

Season 26 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Sylvester McCoy on Blu-ray #4

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And now we’ve come to the fourth and final story of Season 26 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray! This is one of my favourite stories with Sylvester McCoy’s Doctor and Sophie Aldred’s Ace. It’s time for ‘Survival’, the first ‘Doctor Who’ story by Rona Munro before she wrote ‘The Eaters of Light’ with Peter Capaldi. It was also sadly the last TV story to be featured in the classic series of ‘Doctor Who’. Continue reading

Season 26 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Sylvester McCoy on Blu-ray #3

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here we are on the third story in Season 26 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray! It’s time for ‘The Curse of Fenric’, starring Sylvester McCoy as the Doctor and Sophie Aldred as Ace. This is Sophie Aldred’s favourite story in ‘Doctor Who’ and I can’t deny I enjoyed the journey Ace had throughout this story. Continue reading

Season 26 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Sylvester McCoy on Blu-ray #2

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome back to Season 26 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray! It’s time for the second story of the season…and unfortunately it’s my least favourite. This is ‘Ghost Light’, starring Sylvester McCoy as the Doctor and Sophie Aldred as Ace. I found this one to be very confusing the first time I watched it. Continue reading
