‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon – ’42’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

In today’s instalment of the ‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon on ‘Bradley’s Basement’, it’s time for us to check out the first ‘Doctor Who’ episode penned by Chris Chibnall. 🙂 Today, we’re checking out ’42’, starring David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor and Freema Agyeman as Martha. In this episode, the Doctor and Martha have literally 42 minutes to stop a spaceship from crashing into a sun in deep space. The episode features special guest stars like Michelle Collins (of ‘EastEnders’ fame) as Captain Kath McDonnell. There’s also William Ash as Riley Vashtee, Anthony Flanagan as Orin Scannell, Matthew Chambers as Hal Korwin, Vinette Robinson as Abi Lerner, Gary Powell as Dev Ashton and Rebecca Oldfield as Erina Lessak. A lot of these characters get killed off in this episode. 😀 ’42’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and BBC iPlayer. Continue reading
