Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
So, we’ve had the ‘Be Safe…’ and ‘Start to Read’ videos in the ‘Learn with Sooty’ range of education videos. Today, it’s time to share the third of the original four education videos featuring Sooty, Sweep, Soo and Matthew Corbett from ‘The Sooty Show’. These videos were originally released in 1989. I enjoyed watching these videos that helped me to learn about things such as safety and how to read. Continue reading

It’s time to close off Season 8 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series by taking a look at the five-part adventure ‘The Dæmons’. This happens to be a favourite ‘Doctor Who’ story among the fans. It stars Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor, Katy Manning as Jo Grant, Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, Richard Franklin as Mike Yates, John Levene as Sergeant Benton and Roger Delgado as the Master. Is this one of my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ stories though? 😀 ‘The Dæmons’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox. Continue reading

I had another nostalgic birthday present this Christmas. As well as the ‘Rainbow’ DVD I had, I also had a DVD of ‘The Sooty Show’ featuring Sooty, Sweep and Soo with Matthew Corbett as the presenter. I used to love watching ‘The Sooty Show’ on VHS and ‘Sooty & Co’ on TV when I was a kid. Continue reading
