Well, you’ve asked for it and you’ve got it! 😀 Here’s my latest review on a BBV production and it’s on the fourth and final ‘P.R.O.B.E.’ episode to feature Caroline John as Liz Shaw from the worlds of ‘Doctor Who’. This is ‘Ghosts of Winterborne’ and it’s a sequel to the second ‘P.R.O.B.E.’ episode called ‘The Devil of Winterborne’. Continue reading

Season 17 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Tom Baker on Blu-ray #6

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And we’ve come to the end of Season 17 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray with Tom Baker. To finish off, we’re taking a look at the lost story called ‘Shada’, which was meant to be the season finale to Season 17, but was cancelled due to strike action happening in 1979. My review on the original ‘Shada’ is based on the 2021 ‘definitive version’ of the story in the Season 17 Blu-ray box set. I’ve combined both my reviews on the 1992 VHS version and the 2017 movie version of the ‘Shada’ story for this review. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here we are again with another animation to fill in the gaps of missing black-and-white ‘Doctor Who’ stories from the 1960s. It’s time to revisit ‘Galaxy 4’, which I originally reviewed back in 2017. This story comes from the First Doctor era and it features William Hartnell as the First Doctor, Maureen O’Brien as Vicki and Peter Purves as Steven. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I wasn’t expecting to review another BBV production so soon! I wasn’t expecting to review another ‘P.R.O.B.E.’ episode from the worlds of ‘Doctor Who’ either! ‘Unnatural Selection’, the third episode of the ‘P.R.O.B.E.’ series was a DVD birthday present given to me this year by my best mate from school Stephen. Continue reading

This was recently given to me as a late Christmas present by Stephen, my best mate from school. ‘P.R.O.B.E.’ is a ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off series starring Caroline John as Liz Shaw. Continue reading

Convention Memories – ‘Big Blue Box 2’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for another ‘convention memories’ blog post by me today and I’m sharing my memories of the first convention I attended in 2013 for the 50th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’. And it’s also the first convention that I ever attended to not have Sarah Sutton there. I know! How shocking is that?! Continue reading
