Disney Film Review – ‘Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As promised, here’s my brand-new in-depth review on an Easter film, which I first saw on Disney+ last year. It’s time to check out the 2004 film ‘Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo’. This is the first time I’ve done an in-depth review on a ‘Winnie the Pooh’ film, especially one featuring Pooh and his friends in the Disney sense. This is following on from my quick reviews on ‘Winnie the Pooh’ films produced by Disney like ‘The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh’, the 2018 film ‘Christopher Robin’, ‘Pooh’s Grand Adventure: The Search For Christopher Robin’ and of course ‘Springtime with Roo’. Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And we have a bit of an Easter-themed Disney+ Roundup on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ today! This specifically concerns the third film ‘Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo’. And I’ve seen two ‘Winnie the Pooh’ films lately, which I’ve enjoyed very much. First things first: ‘Escape to Witch Mountain’! Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Tom and Jerry: Snowman’s Land’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

When I was in Cheltenham last week, I purchased the latest ‘Tom and Jerry’ film on DVD, which is ‘Tom and Jerry: Snowman’s Land’. This was released like eleven months after the release of ‘Cowboy Up!’ in January 2022. In my opinion, I found ‘Snowman’s Land’ more enjoyable than ‘Cowboy Up!’. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Tom and Jerry: Cowboy Up!’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time to talk about a ‘Tom and Jerry’ movie that I purchased from my trip in Newcastle in July 2022. I know it’s taken me a while to get around to finally watch the film in 2023, but I’ve managed to check it out and can share some thoughts on what one of the latest ‘Tom and Jerry’ animated films is like. Disney DVD Reviews – ‘The Santa Clause’ Trilogy

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s Christmas time! 🙂 And once again we’re back for some more full-length Christmas-related reviews in December 2022. To start off, let’s talk about ‘The Santa Clause’ trilogy of movies today! And what good timing this is with ‘The Santa Clauses’ series on Disney+. ‘The Santa Clause’ movies star Tim Allen (who voices Buzz Lightyear in the ‘Toy Story’ films) as Scott Calvin/Santa Claus. I’ve enjoyed checking out these movies over the years at Christmas. They’ve been very entertaining in depicting this Disney live-action version of Santa. 🙂

Disney Film Review – ‘Bambi 2’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Today is what would have been my late sister Bethan’s birthday. Recently, my parents and I revisited one of her favourite Disney films – the 1942 film ‘Bambi’ – on Disney+. We also watched the 2006 sequel ‘Bambi 2’, which takes place during the first film where Bambi is a young male deer fawn before he becomes an adult. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Zootropolis’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Over the Christmas holidays in 2021, I saw the Disney film ‘Zootropolis’ on BBC One. I didn’t see it from beginning to end, but I managed to see most of the film when I was having my lunch on the day it was shown on TV. Lately, I’ve seen the complete film of ‘Zootropolis’ on Disney+, which is great. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Space Jam’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

The new ‘Space Jam’ movie called ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ is currently out at cinemas. I’m hoping to see it sometime soon. But first, let me share with you my thoughts on the original ‘Space Jam’ movie which was released in 1996. I saw this film recently when I rented it on Google Play to watch. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

To commemorate my sister Bethan’s birthday, who sadly died in 1993 when she was six years old, I’m sharing my reviews on the two Disney animated films, ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘Return to Never Land’. I’ve shared my DVD review on ‘Peter Pan’ before but my DVD review on ‘Return to Never Land’ is a brand-new one. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Tom and Jerry Meet Sherlock Holmes’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve done quite a number of quick reviews on cartoon films released to DVD. These include unusual crossovers such as ‘Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory’; ‘Tom and Jerry & The Wizard of Oz’ and the sequel to that film ‘Tom and Jerry: Back to Oz’. I also reviewed ‘Scooby-Doo Meets Batman’ and ‘Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold’. Quite unusual crossovers! 😀 Continue reading
