I’ve been looking forward to sharing my updated reviews on Season 20 for quite some time since the Blu-ray box set came out in September 2023. The season stars Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa, Janet Fielding as Tegan and Mark Strickson as Turlough. Today, I’m sharing the complete version of the ‘Doctor Who’ Short Trip adventure I wrote for my ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar’ in December 2023. Once again, I had in mind to check out and review the ‘Doctor Who’ book called ‘Doctor Who in Wonderland’ by Paul Magrs, featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Turlough. Sadly, I’ve been very busy these past few months and haven’t been able to put together all the Nyssa stories I wanted to review for the 2024-25 ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season. Hopefully, I’ll be back on track later in 2025 with putting together brand-new reviews on the latest ‘Doctor Who’ stories featuring Nyssa, including the ‘Doctor Who in Wonderland’ book, which I’m looking forward to reading. I’m so happy I’ve been able to check out and do my review on the Big Finish audio adaptation of ‘Goth Opera’ for the 2024-25 ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season. So, originally, I was planning to do a set of updated reviews on ‘The Lost Stories’ trilogy of ‘Doctor Who’ audio adventures starring Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton and Janet Fielding from 2011 for my ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season from 2024 to 2025, including ‘The Elite’, ‘Hexagora’ and ‘The Children of Seth’. Sadly, I’ve been busy in November and haven’t been able to find time to do those updated reviews. Thankfully, I’ve been able to update my review on one of my favourite Fifth Doctor and Nyssa audio stories that is actually an audio anthology called ‘1001 Nights’. Continue reading →
