Cinema Experience – ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ (Extended Cut)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here are my thoughts on seeing the extended cut of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’, the second ‘Spider-Man’ film of the current Tom Holland/Jon Watts film trilogy, which was shown recently at cinemas this year. This is part of the marathon of the eight live-action ‘Spider-Man’ movies being shown at cinemas in the UK from August to September in 2024. Continue reading

‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon – ‘The Impossible Planet’/’The Satan Pit’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here’s another two-part adventure in the David Tennant/Tenth Doctor era of ‘Doctor Who’. It’s time for ‘The Impossible Planet’/’The Satan Pit’ by Matt Jones. In this ‘Doctor Who’ adventure, David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose visit a planet where there is a sanctuary base and the planet happens to be close to a stable black hole in space. We’re introduced to the spaghetti-like Ood ( 😀 ), voiced by Silas Carlson, and there’s the sanctuary base crew, including Shaun Parkes as Zachary, Danny Webb as Mr. Jefferson, Claire Rushbrook as Ida, Will Thorp as Toby, Ronny Jhutti as Danny and MyAnna Buring as Scooti. Will the Tenth Doctor, Rose and their new friends survive the threat of the demonic Beast, voiced by Gabriel Woolf (who played Sutekh in ‘Pyramids of Mars’) whilst the sanctuary base is under siege by possessed Ood? ‘The Impossible Planet’/’The Satan Pit’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and BBC iPlayer. Spider-Man at the Movies – ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

After ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, the ‘MCU’ Spider-Man‘s journey continued in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avenger: Endgame’. Now we have the second film of the ‘MCU Spider-Man’ series called ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’. In my opinion, this is the weakest out of the three ‘Spider-Man’ movies featuring Tom Holland as the titular superhero character. Continue reading

‘Out of Time’ (Doctor Who) – Big Finish Animation

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve been revisiting ‘Out of Time’ with David Tennant and Tom Baker and I’m about to check out the other two stories in the ‘Out of Time’ trilogy in ‘Doctor Who’ by Big Finish. In doing so, I’ve watched an amazing full animation video by Josh Snares, which was released on YouTube this year back in April. I played the Big Finish audio on CD to synch up with the animation video. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I was originally going to release my review on this ‘Doctor Who’ story in April this year. But then I thought, what the heck, I’ll release it today! I’m pretty sure there’ll be more ‘Doctor Who’ reviews for me to share later in the year. Anyway, at last I’ve heard the multi-Doctor story ‘Out of Time’, starring David Tennant and Tom Baker. ‘Doctor Who’ Marathon – ‘The Impossible Planet’/’The Satan Pit’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We come now to one of the most darkest stories in ‘Doctor Who’s history featuring David Tennant as the Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose. This is ‘The Impossible Planet’/’The Satan Pit’ where the Doctor and Rose meet the Ood for the first time and the Devil himself. Will our heroes overcome their fears? Continue reading
