Convention Report – ‘Happy Who Year at the Playhouse 2025’

Happy Who Year everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Yes! I attended the ‘Happy Who Year’ convention run by Who’s at the Playhouse at the Epsom Playhouse theatre in Epsom this year on Sunday the 19th of January 2025. It was an enjoyable day out, as there were so many ‘Doctor Who’ guests from the classic TV series. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Knuckles’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

So, I must admit, I wasn’t one of those people who wanted to see a ‘Knuckles’ spin-off series from the world of ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’. Not that I don’t like the character. I’ve enjoyed Knuckles in the movies, and he’s voiced well by Idris Elba, especially for this series. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I must admit, I wasn’t really expecting a sequel, let alone a prequel, to the 2019 live-action remake of ‘The Lion King’. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it fine enough, but I prefer the original 1994 animated film compared to its 2019 live-action/CGI animated counterpart. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Happy New Year everyone! Once again, I had in mind to check out and review the ‘Doctor Who’ book called ‘Doctor Who in Wonderland’ by Paul Magrs, featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Turlough. Sadly, I’ve been very busy these past few months and haven’t been able to put together all the Nyssa stories I wanted to review for the 2024-25 ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season. Hopefully, I’ll be back on track later in 2025 with putting together brand-new reviews on the latest ‘Doctor Who’ stories featuring Nyssa, including the ‘Doctor Who in Wonderland’ book, which I’m looking forward to reading. My 2024!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We’ve come to the end of 2024! How was this year? Well, I can’t say it’s been an entirely satisfying year. There have been ups and downs along the way, certainly in the summer months. I didn’t really get the chance to have a summer holiday this year, which is a pity. Continue reading

It’s exciting to talk about the audio version of ‘Goth Opera’, starring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa and Janet Fielding as Tegan. Continue reading

–UPDATED REVIEW ON AUDIO ANTHOLOGY TODAY–

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

So, originally, I was planning to do a set of updated reviews on ‘The Lost Stories’ trilogy of ‘Doctor Who’ audio adventures starring Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton and Janet Fielding from 2011 for my ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season from 2024 to 2025, including ‘The Elite’, ‘Hexagora’ and ‘The Children of Seth’. Sadly, I’ve been busy in November and haven’t been able to find time to do those updated reviews. Thankfully, I’ve been able to update my review on one of my favourite Fifth Doctor and Nyssa audio stories that is actually an audio anthology called ‘1001 Nights’. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I saw ‘Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’ on BBC iPlayer on Christmas Day! 🙂 I greatly enjoyed seeing the film. It was a very nice film to sit through and I felt very relaxed watching it. The ‘Wallace & Gromit’ nostalgia came back for me as I watched the film. 🙂 Continue reading
