Quick Movie Review – ‘Far From Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

My parents and I recently saw the film ‘Far From Home’ on Disney+. No, no! Not ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’! 😀 This is ‘Far From Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog’. This was a film I used to see as a kid on VHS. It’s a good film about this young boy who befriends a dog who helps him to survive. Continue reading

And welcome to the final instalment of the ‘X-Men Film Review Season’!!!!!

Yeah, I know, I know. I’ve got the two ‘Deadpool’ movies and ‘Logan’ to check out, but I’m basing my current ‘X-Men Film Review Season’ on the ‘X-Men’ 10 movie collection available on DVD and Blu-ray. For now, let’s end this review season with the latest and final instalment of the ‘X-Men’ film series by 20th Century Fox/Studios – ‘The New Mutants’. This film is directed by Josh Boone and stars Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt and Henry Zaga. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time to talk about the first Christmas Special of ‘Downton Abbey’, which was transmitted on ITV1 on the 25th of December 2011 between Series 2 and 3. I enjoyed this Christmas Special and whilst there’s an ongoing storyline I’m concerned about, I’m glad the special does end on a happier note. 🙂 Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I wanted to see ‘The Suicide Squad’, the new 2021 film by writer/director James Gunn at the cinema. Before I did that however, I decided to check out the original ‘Suicide Squad’ film which was made in 2016. I saw the original theatrical version of the 2016 ‘Suicide Squad’ film at home via Google Play. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

On Disney+, I recently saw the 1988 film ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’! I used to watch this film when I was a kid back in the 1990s. I enjoyed the film very much as a kid and I still like it to this day. It’s an impressive film combining live-action and cartoon animation. It has a good story with good humour. Continue reading

It’s time to talk about the fourth episode of ‘Monsters at Work’, the sequel Disney+ series to ‘Monsters Inc’. I’m really getting into the storylines in each episode of ‘Monsters at Work’. DVD Review – ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome to the penultimate instalment of the ‘X-Men Film Review Season’!!!!!

There’s one more ‘X-Men’ film to check out after this, but it’s time to check out the final instalment of the main ‘X-Men’ film series called ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ – or just ‘Dark Phoenix’ as it’s called in the USA. ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ is written and directed by Simon Kinberg. It stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexander Shipp and Jessica Chastain. Like ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’, has my opinion on ‘Dark Phoenix’ changed significantly since I first saw it at the cinema back in 2019? Continue reading
