Quick Movie Review – ‘Knives Out’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

You may have noticed that I have an interest in crime dramas in film and on TV. Whether it’d be film/TV adaptations of Agatha Christie‘s novels or episodes of ‘Grantchester’. I watch and review them on my blog now and again, sharing what I think works in a TV or film crime drama and what doesn’t. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

At last! I’ve finally seen ‘Wonder Woman 1984’! I’ve been looking forward to seeing this movie since it was promoted in late 2019 and the whole of 2020. It was meant to come out in June 2020 before getting delayed to October 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic happening – please keep safe. 😐 Continue reading

Quick DVD Box Set Review – ‘Die Hard Collection’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, I’ve finally seen them! I’ve seen the five films of ‘Die Hard’ starring Bruce Willis as John McClane. I know, right? Imagine me watching these movies! I didn’t think that would happen either! My Dad purchased them for my Mum since she (and we) enjoyed the ‘Mission: Impossible’ movies! Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Amy’ (1981 Film)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Friday, my parents and I saw a 1981 drama film on Disney+ called ‘Amy’, starring Jenny Agutter. It was a very interesting film to sit through. I’ve not heard of this film before and it was amazing to find it on Disney+. There are so many films featured on Disney+ that don’t get discussed a lot about. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Agatha Christie Collection featuring Peter Ustinov’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

For Christmas 2020, I gave my Mum a 3-disc DVD set of an ‘Agatha Christie Collection featuring Peter Ustinov’ in his ‘classic role’ as Hercule Poirot. For my Dad, I gave him a Blu-ray edition of 2016’s ‘Pete’s Dragon’. We’ve enjoyed watching these films very much over the Christmas holidays. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Soul’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

If you were to tell me after seeing ‘Toy Story 4’ in 2019 that I would be seeing the Disney/Pixar films ‘Onward’ and ‘Soul’ in 2020, I probably would’ve just shrugged and said, “Maybe, maybe not. I’m not that bothered to see them to be honest.” My, my, how things have changed since 2020 began! 🙂 Continue reading

There’s going to be a new ‘Home Alone’ movie coming out on Disney+ sometime in 2021. As I’ve shared my latest detailed reviews on ‘Home Alone’ & ‘Home Alone 2: Lost in New York’, it’s only fair that I share my thoughts on ‘Home Alone 3’, which my parents and I have seen on Disney+ lately. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘One Magic Christmas’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

My parents and I saw another Christmas film on Disney+ last Friday. This happened to be the 1985 film ‘One Magic Christmas’, starring Mary Steenburgen and Harry Dean Stanton. This was a fascinating film to see on Disney+, though I don’t think this is the kind of film I’d see again and again. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Noelle’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I saw the Christmas film ‘Noelle’ on Disney+ last Friday. This film was released on Disney+ in November 2019. I enjoyed ‘Noelle’. It’s an intriguing take on the Santa Claus story especially with a young woman becoming Santa. I don’t know if it’s original concept, but it was very entertaining here. Continue reading
