Disney+ Roundup – ‘Stargirl’ & ‘The Absent-Minded Professor’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s that time again for another Disney+ Roundup on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and it’s the second one in 2023. 😀 Today, we’re taking a look at two unrelated films that I saw recently on Disney+. There’s the 2020 film ‘Stargirl’ and the 1961 film ‘The Absent-Minded Professor’, the original ‘Flubber’ movie. 😀 Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Dungeons & Dragons’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time to talk about another present that Stephen, my best mate from school, gave me for Christmas last year. 🙂 Since the new ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ movie is coming out soon this year, it’s only fair that I check out the original ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ movie that was released back in 2000. 🙂 Continue reading

Disney+ Roundup – ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ & ‘Flubber’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’m going to try something different in terms of doing quick movie reviews. Rather than do individual reviews, I’m going to do quick reviews on two or three films I’ve seen on Disney+ in the space of a couple or a few weeks. This is a new segment on my blog that I’d like to call the Disney+ Roundup, 🙂 Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘The Master of Disguise’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

It’s time to talk about a Christmas present my best mate from school, Stephen, gave me in 2022. And of course this is a Christmas present Stephen gave me, because I wouldn’t be reviewing this supposed ‘adventure comedy’ film by choice if it hadn’t been given to me as a Christmas present. 😀 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Matilda the Musical’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s funny. For a long time, I’ve never considered the idea of Roald Dahl‘s ‘Matilda’ being a musical that seriously. The stage show had a trial run in Stratford-upon-Avon from 2010 to 2011 before it had its West End premiere in 2011. Apparently, it’s a popular stage show, yet I’ve not seen it myself. Quick Movie Review – ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’s blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Rian Johnson is a film director I didn’t expect to return to again so soon. 😀 Since I checked out and reviewed ‘Knives Out’ in 2021, it’s only fair that I check out and review the sequel to the 2019 film called ‘Glass Onion’. The film stars Daniel Craig back in his role of the master detective Benoit Blanc. Continue reading

The First Two ‘Avatar’ Movies

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This past week, I’ve seen the first two ‘Avatar’ movies directed by James Cameron. I saw the first ‘Avatar’ movie on DVD, and I saw the second film ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ at the cinema. These have been very enjoyable films to check out, but are these movies for me to get very excited about? Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘The Bishop’s Wife’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Today, I’m sharing my full-length DVD review on a Christmas film I saw on the big screen for a limited re-release at my local cinema back in December 2019. It’s time to take a look at the 1947 film ‘The Bishop’s Wife’, starring Cary Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven. This is a film my parents and I greatly enjoyed. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Disenchanted’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s amazing to think that it’s been 15 years since the film ‘Enchanted’ was made in 2007. I’ve now seen ‘Disenchanted’, the sequel to ‘Enchanted’, which was released on Disney+ in 2022. I’m amazed this film was only released exclusively to Disney+, since it could have had a limited theatrical release. Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ (1994)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As we’re two weeks into December, it’s time for me to share another full-length review on a Christmas film I’ve enjoyed. Let’s take a look at the 1994 film ‘Miracle on 34th Street’. This film has divided quite a lot of opinion over the years, since some consider the original 1947 film to be better than the 1994 remake. 😐
