I’ve seen the two ‘Chicken Run’ films over the Christmas period. These films are Aardman Animations productions. The ‘Wallace & Gromit’ films are also produced by Aardman. This happens to be an origin story for Willy Wonka, a character in the 1964 book ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl. Last Saturday, my parents and I saw the 1985 film ‘Santa Claus: The Movie’ at the cinema. I greatly enjoyed seeing this film. It’s quite tame in most parts and has a very calming quality that allows you to enjoy the festive feel of Christmas, especially in depicting a guy in a red suit who delivers presents. 🙂 Continue reading

When I was in Cheltenham last week, I purchased the latest ‘Tom and Jerry’ film on DVD, which is ‘Tom and Jerry: Snowman’s Land’. This was released like eleven months after the release of ‘Cowboy Up!’ in January 2022. In my opinion, I found ‘Snowman’s Land’ more enjoyable than ‘Cowboy Up!’. 🙂 Continue reading

My parents and I checked out another Christmas movie that was released exclusively to Disney+. We saw ‘Dashing Through the Snow’, a Christmas fantasy comedy film directed by Tim Story. Tim Story is a name I’ve come across before, as he directed the 2005 and 2007 ‘Fantastic Four’ live-action films. 🙂 Continue reading
