My Mum enjoyed her birthday present this year, which was the complete series of ‘Rosemary & Thyme’, starring Felicity Kendal and Pam Ferris. I’m very pleased my Mum enjoyed ‘Rosemary & Thyme’. The latest news I’ve heard about ‘Call the Midwife’ is that Series 10 has completed filming. This is good news, especially during difficult times – please keep safe! Hopefully Series 10 will be shown on TV screens soon and hopefully most of us will have the Covid-19 vaccine by then. 🙂 In the meantime, I’ve been checking out Series 6 of ‘Call the Midwife’ on DVD. After checking out the BBC’s 1991 TV adaptation of ‘Five Children and It’, my parents and I soon checked out another Christmas present that my Mum had over Christmas 2020. My Mum received the DVD of the BBC’s 1991 adaptation of ‘Five Children and It’ for Christmas this year! My parents and I spent three days watching the six-part serial on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the 27th. It was an intriguing experience watching ‘Five Children and It’ and was quite enjoyable. As well as reviewing the Series 9 episodes, I also checked out Series 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 as well as the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and (very recently) 2016 Christmas Specials. Here we are on the last episode of Series 3 of ‘Grantchester’! I’ve enjoyed Series 3 and the season finale has been satisfying.
