I’ve now read and heard the Target novelization/audiobook of the ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘Delta and the Bannermen’ by Malcolm Kohll. The story features the Seventh Doctor and Mel meeting Delta as well as Billy, Ray, Burton, Murray, Weismuller, Hawk and Goronwy. They end up at the Shangri-La holiday camp in South Wales where Gavrok and the Bannermen attack. The audiobook for ‘Doctor Who – Delta and the Bannermen’ is read by Bonnie Langford who plays Mel in the TV series and the Big Finish audios. Continue reading

At last! After sharing ‘The Lord of the Rings: Comedy Version’ in my 2021 advent calendar last December, I’ve finished updating my reviews on ‘The Lord of the Rings’ BBC radio series set in the world of Middle-Earth! I’ve enjoyed revisiting this radio series and updating my reviews on the three volumes. The ‘LOTR’ radio series stars Ian Holm as Frodo Baggins, Michael Horden as Gandalf, Robert Stephens as Aragorn, John Le Mesurier as Bilbo Baggins, Peter Woodthorpe as Gollum and Bill Nighy as Samwise Gamgee. It’s been 40 years since Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’ debuted in ‘Part One’ of ‘Castrovalva’ on the 4th of January 1982. The Peter Davison/Fifth Doctor era of ‘Doctor Who’ means a lot to me, especially since I’ve met a lot of the actors/actresses who’ve played characters in the Fifth Doctor era at conventions.
