Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Before the Thirteenth Doctor crash-landed to Earth and met Graham, Ryan and Yaz in Sheffield in ‘The Woman Who Fell to Earth’ in 2018, I visited Sheffield when I attended the ‘Valiant 2015’ convention run by Fantom Films. These are my ‘convention memories’ of this ‘Doctor Who’ event. 🙂

‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon – ‘The Claws of Axos’

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Axos is calling Earth, as we venture into the third story of Season 8 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series – ‘The Claws of Axos’. This four-part story is the first to be written by Bob Baker and Dave Martin. Once again, Jon Pertwee stars as the Third Doctor with Katy Manning as Jo Grant, Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, Richard Franklin as Mike Yates and John Levene as Sergeant Benton. This is ‘The Mind of Evil’, a six-part story starring Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor, Katy Manning as Jo Grant, Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, Richard Franklin as Mike Yates and John Levene as Sergeant Benton. After swimming through Season 7, it’s time to check out Season 8 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. The first story of Season 8 is ‘Terror of the Autons’, where Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor confronts the Autons and the Nestene Consciousness again. He meets Katy Manning as Jo Grant, his new companion, and he also meets his archenemy, Roger Delgado as the Master. As well as Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier and John Levene as Sergeant Benton, U.N.I.T. is joined by Richard Franklin as Captain Mike Yates.
