Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Season 5 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series is what you might regard as ‘the monster season’, featuring Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria. It would have been really good if Debbie Watling had been in all seven stories of Season 5. 🙂 Continue reading

‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon – ‘The Wheel In Space’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for the season finale of Season 5 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. This is ‘The Wheel In Space’, a six-part adventure that is sadly mostly missing from the BBC Archives. Only two episodes of this six-part story have survived – ‘Episodes Three and Six’. The story stars Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor and Frazer Hines as Jamie. Season 22 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Colin Baker on Blu-ray #5

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We come now to what I consider to be the weakest story in Season 22 of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘Timelash’. It’s been nice to revisit this ‘Doctor Who’ story in the Season 22 Blu-ray box set, featuring Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor and Nicola Bryant as Peri. They’re joined by Paul Darrow (of ‘Blake’s 7’ fame) as the villainous Tekker and the TARDIS duo also confront the monstrous Borad, played by Robert Ashby. Continue reading
