Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last weekend, I had a great time attending the ‘Bury Comic Con’ in June 2025. Bury is a market town on the River Irwell in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury, Greater Manchester, England. I got there from Cardiff via train to Manchester and then via tram to Bury itself. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick Conversation with Sarah Sutton at ‘Bury Comic Con 2025’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last weekend, I attended the ‘Bury Comic Con’ on the 29th of  June 2025 and saw Sarah Sutton (Nyssa), Peter Davison (the Fifth Doctor) and Janet Fielding (Tegan) – three of my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ stars. I planned to record an interview with Sarah about her ‘Doctor Who’ debut as Nyssa in ‘The Keeper of Traken’. Sadly, that wasn’t to be, as it turned out to be very busy that day. 😦 Hopefully, I’ll get to conduct the interview with Sarah at a future comic con event. Continue reading

This includes reactions to certain characters and moments featured in ‘The Five Doctors’ TV adventure itself, which I’ve enjoyed doing. Continue reading

DVD/Blu-ray Special Features Reviews – ‘Messages From Space’, ‘Look Who’s Driving’ & ‘Let’s Go Dutch’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

In case you missed it yesterday, I’ve updated my review on ‘The Five Doctors’, the seventh and final story of Season 20 in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. In doing so, I’ve updated my review on ‘Messages From Space’, a DVD special feature included on the ‘Doctor Who Magazine’ 40th anniversary disc for ‘The Collection’ range of classic ‘Doctor Who’ Blu-ray box sets. This is now included on Disc 8 of the Season 20 Blu-ray box set containing the 40th anniversary edition version of ‘The Five Doctors’. I’ve shared my review of it on the ‘Logopolis’ page, as that special feature was originally meant for that TV story. Continue reading

‘Neptune Connect’ – Part Three

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Apologies. This is taking me longer than I thought, but I’ve finally been able to put together and, today, I’m sharing ‘Part Three’ of ‘Neptune Connect’, my latest ‘Doctor Who’ story in ‘The Fifth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ series on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. What with me doing my Quick Reaction Videos on Series 15 of ‘Doctor Who’, finishing the rest of my updated reviews of Season 20 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, and going to ‘Collectormania Milton Keynes’ at the end of May, it’s delayed me in sharing the rest of this four-part ‘Doctor Who’ story featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy fighting against Cybermen in San Francisco in the year 2054. Season 20 of ‘Doctor Who’ with Peter Davison on Blu-ray #6

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We’re now on the sixth story of Season 20 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series and, as it turns out, the season finale. Technically, anyway. Don’t worry. There’s still ‘The Five Doctors’ for us to check out next week. In the meantime, let’s check out this two-part story by Terence Dudley, featuring the Fifth Doctor, Tegan and Turlough. It’s Terence Dudley’s third ‘Doctor Who’ contribution as a writer and it’s the first and only one to be directed by Tony Virgo. The story also introduces Kamelion, a new robot companion for the Fifth Doctor, voiced by Gerald Flood, who also plays King John in this adventure. There’s also the return of Anthony Ainley as the Master in ‘The King’s Demons’. The story’s special guest stars include Frank Windsor, Isla Blair, Christopher Villiers and Michael J. Jackson. The story was filmed at Bodiam Castle, as it takes place in medieval England in the year 1215. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Just a quickie to let you know that I’m enjoying my birthday so far! 🙂 I’ve also received two signed photos from Sarah Sutton (Nyssa of Traken in ‘Doctor Who’), which my Dad purchased via her website and was sent to me in the post. I’m very pleased to have received these very lovely photos from Sarah. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

My review on the 1997 abridged audiobook has been added to my ‘Kinda’ page, which also contains a review of the TV story and on the Target novelization and the 2024 unabridged audiobook, read by Janet Fielding. The story features the Fifth Doctor, Adric, Nyssa and Tegan. Continue reading

‘Doctor Who’ USA Videos starring Sarah Sutton

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

As a pre-Easter treat, here are a couple of YouTube videos featuring Sarah Sutton (Nyssa in ‘Doctor Who’) where she does ‘Doctor Who’ adverts for USA TV in the 1980s, including for WNYC TV31 and WCET 48. It’s amazing to see Sarah in these adverts, especially with her hair being so different back then compared to now. 😀 Continue reading
