SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley

Here we are again! We’ve returned to the world of ‘Downton Abbey’ in the third and final instalment of the supposed film trilogy ‘Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale’. It’s been a while since I shared reviews on ‘Downton Abbey’ in 2022. It’s nice to come back to the series in this film. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Wonka’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen the latest musical fantasy film called ‘Wonka’ at the cinema. This happens to be an origin story for Willy Wonka, a character in the 1964 book ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl. It’s also a prequel to the 1971 film ‘Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory’ with Gene Wilder. Continue reading

2 Quick Movie Reviews – ‘Alice In Wonderland’ (2010) & ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’ (2016)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

I’ve seen the two Disney live-action films based on Lewis Carroll’s works featuring Alice, including the 2010 film ‘Alice In Wonderland’ and the 2016 film ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’. I’ve enjoyed both films on Disney+, but they’re not great films and they’re loosely based on their source material. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Having seen the TV series on Blu-ray and revisited the first film on Blu-ray, I’ve at last seen the second ‘Downton Abbey’ film ‘A New Era’ on the big screen! In fact, I’ve seen the second ‘Downton Abbey’ movie twice at the cinema! In my opinion, I found the second film better than the first film. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick Blu-rays Review – ‘Downton Abbey’ (Series 6 & The Finale)

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

At the time of this review, ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ is out at cinemas! I’m hoping to watch the film on the big screen soon (hopefully by the time you read this review, I will have seen it already). It’s fitting I should finish watching the ‘Downton Abbey’ TV series before I check out the new movie. Continue reading

Quick Blu-ray Review – ‘Downton Abbey – A Moorland Holiday’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for another ‘Downton Abbey’ Christmas Special! Thankfully this Christmas Special has Christmas featured in it towards the end of the special as opposed to the previous couple of specials that didn’t have Christmas in them at all. This is of course ‘Downton Abbey – A Moorland Holiday’. 🙂 Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We’re getting close to the release of the second ‘Downton Abbey’ film at cinemas called ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’. I’ve seen the latest trailer for it! I hope I’ll be up-to-date with seeing all of the series, including the six seasons, the Christmas Specials and the first film before I see the second film in May 2022. Continue reading

Quick Blu-ray Review – ‘Downton Abbey: The London Season’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Let’s talk about the 2013 Christmas Special of ‘Downton Abbey’ called ‘The London Season’. It’s interesting that most of these ‘Downton Abbey’ Christmas Specials don’t have a Christmas theme about them. It’s like how the last three ‘Keeping Up Appearances’ Christmas Specials aren’t Christmassy. 😐 Continue reading

Quick Blu-ray Review – ‘Downton Abbey’ (Series 4)

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time to talk about Series 4 of ‘Downton Abbey’, which I’ve finished recently on Blu-ray. And yes, I have seen the teaser trailer for ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’, the second film due to be released in March 2022. I’m looking forward to seeing that movie, whether on the big screen or not, once it comes out. Continue reading
