This is the second of a brand-new range of Target novelizations in ‘Doctor Who’ and is on the first Christmas Special of the new series, ‘The Christmas Invasion’, featuring the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler. I consider that to be a better ‘Doctor Who’ novelization by Donald Cotton and found it so enjoyable, especially with the audiobook narration by Stephen Thorne. I’ve now added my review on ‘Doctor Who and Warriors’ Gate’, the novelization on the TV story by John Lydecker, a pseudonym for Steve Gallagher. ‘Warriors’ Gate’ is the third story in ‘The E-Space Trilogy’. It features the Fourth Doctor, Romana, K-9 and Adric. Would this novelization be an improvement on the TV story after watching it on DVD.
