It also stars Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria. This ‘Doctor Who’ story has recently been animated for DVD and Blu-ray, as it’s currently one of the mostly missing ‘Doctor Who’ stories from the black-and-white days with ‘Episode Two’ still intact. ‘Episode Two’ of ‘The Abominable Snowmen’ is also available to check out on Britbox. ‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon – Season 4 Summary

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Season 4 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series is rather unusual in how it starts and how it ends. It begins with the last two stories of William Hartnell’s era as the First Doctor. The rest of the season is dedicated to Patrick Troughton’s Second Doctor. He does well in taking over from the original actor. Continue reading

In this seven-part story, Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor and Frazer Hines as Jamie are transported back in time from 1966 to 1866 where they must deal with the Daleks and their Emperor who want the human factor. This is another mostly missing TV adventure with ‘Episode 2’ intact whilst the rest of the story has been animated on DVD and Blu-ray. ‘Episode 2’ of ‘The Evil of the Daleks’ is also available to check out on Britbox. 🙂 Continue reading
