Week 1 – ‘Star Wars Review Season’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome to the first instalment of the ‘Star Wars Review Season’!

Yeah, I decided not to call this ‘Star Wars Film Review Season 2’ as I originally had in mind to a couple of years back. That’s because the four ‘Star Wars’ reviews I’ve got lined up for this month aren’t all focused on films. The reviews are on two movies; one TV special and one ‘Star Wars’ novel I’ve read and heard. DVD Review – ‘Patrick’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This is a film I didn’t expect to come back to very soon! For my Dad’s birthday today, I’ve done a full-length review on the comedy film ‘Patrick’. This was released at cinemas for a short time in the UK in June 2018. And it was shown for the first time in the USA in…February 2019…for some reason! Huh? Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Scooby-Doo Meets Batman’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve just realised that it’s the 50th anniversary of Scooby-Doo this year! Yes! That’s right! 50 years ago, Scooby-Doo the talking brown dog who solves mysteries with Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma of Mystery Inc. was created. I used to watch Scooby-Doo as a kid on TV and I’ve also seen his movies. Continue reading

Quick TV Review – ‘Great British Car Journeys’ – Series 2, Episode 4

I’ve seen the fourth and final episode of Series 2 of ‘Great British Car Journeys’ with Peter Davison and Christopher Timothy. My parents and I have had a good time of four weeks of TV entertainment via Channel 4, watching Peter and Chris driving in their Morgan 4/4 and enjoying country road journeys. Continue reading

Basement News – November 2019

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We’re now in November, the penultimate month of the year. I’ve enjoyed 2019 for the most part and I’m sure you have too. There won’t be a ‘Basement News’ post for December as per usual on my blog, but that’ll get made up for when I come to announce this year’s ‘Advent Calendar’. With that said, let’s take a look at what’s in store for November and beyond. Continue reading

Quick DVD Box Set Review – ‘Blake’s 7’ (Series 4)

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

At last! I’ve finished seeing all of ‘Blake’s 7’ on DVD! It’s taken me a while to see all of ‘Blake’s 7’, but I’m happy to say I saw the final episode before the last day of October 2019. ‘Blake’s 7’ has been an enjoyable sci-fi TV series indeed. It has had its ups and downs, but overall it’s been pretty entertaining. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘A Dog’s Journey’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Who could’ve guessed that I would review the sequel to ‘A Dog’s Purpose’? I suppose I should’ve expected it. My Dad surprised me and my Mum with showing us ‘A Dog’s Journey’ on DVD one Saturday evening. I wonder if this is going to be a trend for us as a family to watch doggie movies. 😀 Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s been a while since I did a blog post about ‘Doctor Who Timelines’, isn’t it? Anyway, just to let you know I’ve done two new ones on two ‘Doctor Who’ companions. One is on a latest Fifth Doctor companion in the Big Finish audios which I’ve yet to hear and one is on an Eighth Doctor companion in the BBC Book adventures. Continue reading

DVD Special Features Reviews – ‘Tomorrow’s Times’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve recently reviewed the eight ‘Tomorrow’s Times’ episodes featured on the classic ‘Doctor Who’ DVDs. Two of them have been re-released on Blu-ray so far. The ‘Tomorrow’s Times’ episodes look into each of the first eight eras of ‘Doctor Who’ and how they were reviewed by the newspaper critics. Continue reading
