Here we are on the sixth story and the seventh episode of the ‘Beast Wars: Transformers’ TV series called ‘Fallen Comrades’. In the episode, a Maximal stasis pod has crash-landed on the mysterious planet where the Maximals and Predacons have been fighting their Beast Wars. There’s a race to get to the stasis pod, as the Maximals need to get to it before the Predacons do. I first saw this ‘Beast Wars’ episode on Bank Holiday Monday in August 1998. It was second of two ‘Beast Wars’ episodes I saw on that day. The first episode was ‘Power Surge’. Continue reading

‘Beast Wars’ Review #5 – ‘Power Surge’

Let’s check out the sixth episode of the ‘Beast Wars: Transformers’ TV series, which happens to be the fifth story called ‘Power Surge’. This is a Terrorsaur-focused episode, as he finds an floating mountain filled with Energon and gains tremendous power from it. He defeats Megatron and becomes leader of the Predacons. I first saw this episode on Bank Holiday Monday in August 1998 and later recorded it on VHS in December 1999. I later had the episode in ‘The Beginning’, Volume 1 VHS release. Continue reading

It’s Spring Bank Holiday in May in the UK today! 🙂 It’s time for the fifth episode of the ‘Beast Wars: Transformers’ TV series – the fourth story called ‘Chain of Command’. In this episode, the Maximals investigate an unusual Standing Stones formation, which contains a source of Energon under a pile of rocks. The Predacons attack and trouble ensues. It’s fitting that I first saw this ‘Beast Wars’ episode on Spring Bank Holiday Monday towards the end of May in 1998. Continue reading
