On ‘Doctor Who Day’ (the 23rd of November), we were given a compilation of deleted scenes from episodes of Series 15 of ‘Doctor Who’, starring Ncuti Gatwa. I anticipated that these deleted scenes would appear on the official ‘Doctor Who’ YouTube channel. 🙂 Continue reading

I’ve enjoyed checking out the six-episode TV drama series called ‘The Forsytes’ via Channel 5 from October to November 2025. This is a TV adaptation of ‘The Forsyte Saga’ – a series of books by John Glasworthy. It’s my first proper encounter of ‘The Forsyte Saga’. Continue reading

At long last! Since its release in January 2024, I’ve been able to check out and do reviews on the audio adaptations of three ‘Dad’s Army’ episodes made by Big Finish. This is the first ‘Dad’s Army’ item released by Big Finish called ‘Dad’s Army: The Radio Show’, starring Jack Lane and David Benson. I’m pleased I’ve checked out this audio release by Big Finish, since I’m a huge ‘Dad’s Army’ fan. Plus, it’s been interesting to check out these audio episodes performed by two actors playing a variety of ‘Dad’s Army’ characters. Continue reading

After checking out ‘Aftermath’, it’s time to check out the first two-part story in Season 2 of the ‘Beast Wars: Transformers’ TV series. It’s time for ‘Coming of the Fuzors’, which introduces us to two new characters and a new breed of Transformers where a robot can transform into a mixture of an animal. The two new characters include Quickstrike, who can transform from a scorpion-cobra into a robot and vice versa, and there’s Silverbolt, who can transform from a wolf-eagle into a robot and vice versa. They’re recruited by Megatron for the Predacon cause. Very soon, the Predacons battle against the Maximals, who are defending their base of operations. I saw ‘Part 1’ of the two-part story on Easter Monday in April 1999 and I saw ‘Part 2’ on Early Bank Holiday Monday in May 1999. The story was later released on an official VHS tape as well as on DVD. Will the Maximals be able to cope in their fight against the Predacons without their fearless leader? Continue reading

As part of the 62nd anniversary celebrations of ‘Doctor Who’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’, I’ve decided to share a brand-new video containing my quick reactions to Series 15 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, originally recorded from December 2024 to June 2025. This is like the longest compilation video I’ve ever put together, as its runtime is about 1 hour and 32 minutes. So, it’s like watching a movie for an hour and a half. You’ll need to have about 92 minutes to check out this video in full. 😀 Continue reading

It’s the last Big Finish audio review for this week to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’. What better way to finish it off than by checking out the second audio adventure starring Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose Tyler in ‘The Ninth Doctor Adventures’ by Big Finish. It’s time for ‘The Last Days of the Powell Estate’ by Timothy X Atack. Hopefully, I’ll be back to check out more Ninth Doctor and Rose audio stories as well as more Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz audio stories in the New Year, once I’ve sorted out my ‘Nyssa Challenge’ reviews for this year as well as upcoming in-depth reviews on Series 14 and 15 of the new TV series with Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor.
