Hello everyone! 🙂

Quick DVD Box Set Review – ‘The Incredible Hulk’ Original Movie Collection

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on three TV movies featuring ‘The Incredible Hulk’, starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno. This is ironic, considering I’m still watching the TV series at the time of this review. I might as well share my thoughts on the TV series so far before I get onto talking about the TV films. ‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon – ‘Blink’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here we are on what I consider to be the best ‘Doctor Who’ episode ever written by Steven Moffat in the original Russell T. Davies era. It’s time for ‘Blink’, an episode that introduces the Weeping Angels in ‘Doctor Who’. The episode stars Carey Mulligan as Sally Sparrow, who uncovers a mystery at an old house. She discovers David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor via Easter Eggs on a DVD. He happens to be trapped in the year 1969 with Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones. Can Sally help the Doctor and Martha out of the time trap they’re in whilst having to contend with the Weeping Angels in the year 2007? ‘Blink’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and BBC iPlayer. 2 Quick Movie Reviews – ‘Alice In Wonderland’ (2010) & ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’ (2016)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

I’ve seen the two Disney live-action films based on Lewis Carroll’s works featuring Alice, including the 2010 film ‘Alice In Wonderland’ and the 2016 film ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’. I’ve enjoyed both films on Disney+, but they’re not great films and they’re loosely based on their source material. Continue reading

‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon – ‘Human Nature’/’The Family of Blood’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Let’s check out another two-part story in Series 3 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor and Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones. It’s time for ‘Human Nature’/’The Family of Blood’ by Paul Cornell, based on his original 1995 book called ‘Human Nature’, which featured the Seventh Doctor. 😀 In the TV version of the ‘Doctor Who’ story, the Tenth Doctor decides to become human and calls himself ‘John Smith’ to hide from the alien Family of Blood whilst being a schoolteacher at Farringham School for Boys in England on Earth in the year 1913. Martha acts as a maid whilst at the school. This ‘Doctor Who’ story also features Jessica Hynes as Joan Redfern, John Smith’s love interest, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Tim Latimer. And there are scarecrows in this ‘Doctor Who’ adventure. 😀 ‘Human Nature’/’The Family of Blood’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and BBC iPlayer. Continue reading
