For my Mum, I got her ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part One’ on Blu-ray for Christmas. 🙂 For my Dad, I got him the musical film ‘Anchors Aweigh’, starring Frank Sinatra, Kathryn Grayson and Gene Kelly for Christmas. Thankfully, I have, and I’m glad I saw it on the big screen since this happens to be the final film of the ‘DC Extended Universe’ film series. This happens to be an origin story for Willy Wonka, a character in the 1964 book ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl. Last Saturday, my parents and I saw the 1985 film ‘Santa Claus: The Movie’ at the cinema. I greatly enjoyed seeing this film. It’s quite tame in most parts and has a very calming quality that allows you to enjoy the festive feel of Christmas, especially in depicting a guy in a red suit who delivers presents. 🙂 Continue reading
