Disney+ Roundup – ‘The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again’ & ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for another Disney+ Roundup from me on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. I’ve watched two films I’ve never seen before on Disney+, including one that’s a sequel to another film that I saw earlier this year. It was sadly removed from the UK version of Disney+ recently, which is rather disappointing. 😦 Continue reading

For the past three weeks in January, my parents and I have been checking out ‘The Lord of the Rings’ film trilogy on the big screen at Showcase Cinema in Nantgarw near Cardiff. Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

For my Mum, I got her ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part One’ on Blu-ray for Christmas. 🙂 For my Dad, I got him the musical film ‘Anchors Aweigh’, starring Frank Sinatra, Kathryn Grayson and Gene Kelly for Christmas. I greatly enjoyed checking out this film when we saw it on DVD at last. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I didn’t think I would get to see ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ at the cinema before the end of 2023. Thankfully, I have, and I’m glad I saw it on the big screen since this happens to be the final film of the ‘DC Extended Universe’ film series. I didn’t realise that fact when seeing the film at the cinema. Continue reading

Over the Christmas period, I’ve had the chance to check out two Christmas films that are currently available on Netflix in the UK. This includes the 2022 animated musical film ‘Scrooge: A Christmas Carol’ and the 2018 film ‘The Grinch’. These have been very fascinating films to check out and with varying measures. The ‘Chicken Run’ Movies

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen the two ‘Chicken Run’ films over the Christmas period. These films are Aardman Animations productions. The ‘Wallace & Gromit’ films are also produced by Aardman. It was nice to check out these films, especially as I have very fond memories of the first ‘Chicken Run’ film as a kid. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Wonka’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen the latest musical fantasy film called ‘Wonka’ at the cinema. This happens to be an origin story for Willy Wonka, a character in the 1964 book ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl. It’s also a prequel to the 1971 film ‘Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory’ with Gene Wilder. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Santa Claus: The Movie’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Saturday, my parents and I saw the 1985 film ‘Santa Claus: The Movie’ at the cinema. I greatly enjoyed seeing this film. It’s quite tame in most parts and has a very calming quality that allows you to enjoy the festive feel of Christmas, especially in depicting a guy in a red suit who delivers presents. 🙂 Continue reading
