Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

On Christmas Day, I saw the latest celebration documentary about ‘Dad’s Army’ and the actors’ appearances on shows outside the TV series called ‘Dad’s Army at the BBC’. I greatly enjoyed this documentary on BBC Two, and it was nice to see it on Christmas Day. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Cinemas often have limited re-releases of classic Christmas films for people to check out every year in December. Over the years, I’ve had a fair share of cinema experiences of Christmas films like ‘The Polar Express’, ‘Elf’ and the first two ‘Home Alone’ movies. Continue reading

Audio Reviews – ‘Dad’s Army: The Radio Show’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

At long last! Since its release in January 2024, I’ve been able to check out and do reviews on the audio adaptations of three ‘Dad’s Army’ episodes made by Big Finish. This is the first ‘Dad’s Army’ item released by Big Finish called ‘Dad’s Army: The Radio Show’, starring Jack Lane and David Benson. I’m currently in a ‘Dad’s Army’ mood! 😀 Back in May this year, we had the VE Day 80th anniversary celebrations in the UK. One of the celebrations shown on the BBC was a live concert called ‘VE Day 80: A Celebration to Remember’. The King and Queen attended it. 🙂 Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

To add on to the tribute I made to Prunella Scales recently, I enjoyed her in some of the Tesco adverts that I used to see as a kid when I watched kid’s TV shows in the 1990s. It’s amazing that I saw Prunella Scales in those adverts as well as Sybil in ‘Fawlty Towers’. 🙂 Continue reading

Yes, I know. I’ve talked about ‘Fawlty Towers – The Play’ twice already having seen it twice in the Apollo Theatre in London back in February and August this year. But recently, a special recording of the theatre play was shown on TV via U&Gold, which is pretty amazing. Continue reading
