Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s time for me to share my updated reviews on Season 20 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. I’ve been looking forward to sharing my updated reviews on Season 20 for quite some time since the Blu-ray box set came out in September 2023. The season stars Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa, Janet Fielding as Tegan and Mark Strickson as Turlough. Let’s start off our look into the seven stories of Season 20 by checking out ‘Arc of Infinity’, a four-parter by Johnny Byrne, starring Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton and Janet Fielding.
I’ve revisited ‘Arc of Infinity’ with the CGI effects option switched on. It’s been great revisiting this ‘Doctor Who’ story, as it’s one of my favourites featuring Nyssa of Traken. I’ve enjoyed revisiting some of the DVD special features transferred onto Blu-ray, including the ‘Anti-Matter from Amsterdam’ making-of documentary. I’ve also enjoyed the ‘Behind the Sofa’ item on ‘Arc of Infinity’, featuring Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton, Janet Fielding, Mark Strickson, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Katy Manning and Sophie Aldred. I’ve also enjoyed ‘The Omega Factor’ featurette, the ‘Under Arc Lights’ behind-the-scenes studio footage and the DVD audio commentary with Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton, Janet Fielding and Colin Baker.
Please feel free to check out, read and comment on my updated review for ‘Arc of Infinity’ by clicking on the link for it. This contains a review on the TV story and a slightly updated review on the Target novelization/audiobook ‘Doctor Who – Arc of Infinity’ by Terrance Dicks, read by Geoffrey Beevers. There’s also a brand-new review on the ‘Anti-Matter from Amsterdam’ making-of documentary for ‘Arc of Infinity’. In the updated ‘Arc of Infinity’ review, I’ve created three new reaction videos on certain characters and moments in the story for people to enjoy.
You can purchase ‘Doctor Who – The Collection – Season 20’ on Blu-ray either from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com.
Enjoy!
Bye for now!
Tim. 🙂
