Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We’re halfway through Series 1 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series and it’s time to check out another episode starring Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose. In this episode, they’re joined by Bruno Langley as Adam Mitchell, who previously appeared in ‘Dalek’. Sadly, Adam has a short time in the TARDIS. This ‘Doctor Who’ episode is called ‘The Long Game’ by Russell T. Davies. It takes place in the year 200,000, as the TARDIS trio visit Satellite 5, a space station that broadcasts the world’s news to the people of planet Earth. But something deadly lurks on Floor 500, as the planet Earth is being manipulated by Simon Pegg as the mysterious Editor and his boss: the Mighty Jagrafess. ‘The Long Game’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and BBC iPlayer. ‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon – ‘Dalek’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Today, we’re checking out a ‘Doctor Who’ episode that’s very special to me. This was the one that started it all for me. I was introduced to the TV series overall; Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose; and a Dalek for the first time through this episode. It’s time for ‘Dalek’ by Robert Shearman, and I consider it one of the best ‘Doctor Who’ stories ever made in the new TV series. This episode also features the debut of Bruno Langley as Adam Mitchell, who becomes a short-time companion in the TV series. There’s also Corey Johnson as Henry van Statten and Anna-Louise Plowman as Diana Goddard. The Dalek is operated is Barnaby Edwards and the Dalek voice is by Nicholas Briggs. ‘Dalek’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and BBC iPlayer. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here we are on the first ‘Doctor Who’ episode I ever watched before I became a fully-fledged fan. This is ‘Dalek’ by Robert Shearman. It’s a great episode featuring a lone Dalek and starring Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose. This remains one of my favourite episodes of the series. Continue reading

Over Christmas last year, I received an extra present from my parents.
