Quick ‘MCU’ Series Review – ‘Moon Knight’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s taken me a while to get around to reviewing ‘Moon Knight’ (more than usual, I might add), but I’m happy to say that I’ve seen one of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ shows that was released on Disney+ in 2022. I hope I’ll catch up on the other ‘MCU’ shows that have been released since soon. 🙂 Continue reading

Blu-ray review – ‘The Abominable Snowmen’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As promised, here’s my updated review on the ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘The Abominable Snowmen’. This updated review is based on the latest in a line of mostly missing black-and-white ‘Doctor Who’ TV stories from the 1960s that have been animated on DVD and Blu-ray for today. The story stars Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria. Continue reading

The ‘Spy Kids’ Movies

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve been wanting to talk about this film series for quite some time, as the ‘Spy Kids’ films mean a lot to me. Well, the first three films more than the fourth film, but we’ll get into that a little more later on. The ‘Spy Kids’ films were created by Robert Rodriguez, who wrote, directed and edited the films. Quick Movie Review – ‘Robin Hood’ (1973)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Since I’ve reviewed quite a number of ‘Robin Hood’ stories on my blog, including the 1952 film with Richard Todd and of course the Tom and Jerry film, it’s only fair that I review the Disney film from 1973. If you were to ask me if this was my first experience of Robin Hood, then the answer is ‘yes’. 😀 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’ (2011)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

(sighs) The 2011 film ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’. Now before I talk about this movie, I just want to reflect on some of the things I said in my review for ‘Operation Mincemeat’. I think I might have been harsh in my criticisms for it being quite slow-going and not having enough action featured in it. Continue reading

Disney Film Review – ‘Bambi 2’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Today is what would have been my late sister Bethan’s birthday. Recently, my parents and I revisited one of her favourite Disney films – the 1942 film ‘Bambi’ – on Disney+. We also watched the 2006 sequel ‘Bambi 2’, which takes place during the first film where Bambi is a young male deer fawn before he becomes an adult. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Pinocchio’ (2022)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last weekend, I saw the latest Disney live-action remake of ‘Pinocchio’, directed by Robert Zemeckis of ‘Back to the Future’ fame and based on the 1940 animated film of the same name. The film stars Tom Hanks, well-known for voicing Woody in ‘Toy Story’ and for being in 2004’s ‘The Polar Express’. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

By the time you read this, I’m currently on holiday in Amroth in West Wales. 🙂 It’s taken me a while, but I’ve been able to catch up on the ‘Out of Time’ audio trilogy by Big Finish in ‘Doctor Who’. I’ve recently reviewed the second story of the trilogy called ‘The Gates of Hell’, a multi-Doctor story starring David Tennant and Peter Davison. Continue reading
