Quick Movie Review – ‘The Kid Who Would Be King’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen the movie ‘The Kid Who Would Be King’ at the cinema! I really enjoyed this movie! I’d seen the trailers and heard many positive things about it. It looked good in the trailers so I hoped it would be good in the film. Thankfully it was and it felt like a pretty good, traditional, ‘after school’ kids’ movie. Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Call the Midwife’, Series 8, Episode 7

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen Episode 7 of Series 8 in ‘Call the Midwife’! The episode has quite an emotional gut-punching ending, especially for one of the family members of our main characters. It connects to a storyline that was somewhat introduced in Episode 1 of Series 8, but we’ll get to it once we get to it. Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Call the Midwife’, Series 8, Episode 6

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, it was another pretty good character-driven, emotionally-charged episode of ‘Call the Midwife’ in Series 8 recently. Episode 6 features some pretty good and intriguing story arcs for our main characters and probably ones that’ll continue in the build-up to the season finale in two episodes’ time. Continue reading

It’s the end of a documentary series that I’ve enjoyed watching on Channel 4 for three weeks on a Saturday evening at 8 o’clock. I’m sad it’s come to an end. I’ve seen the last episode of ‘Great British Car Journeys’, starring Peter Davison and Christopher Timothy from ‘All Creatures Great and Small’. Continue reading
