On Christmas Eve, I managed to see ‘Doctor Who at the Proms 2024’ on BBC iPlayer. This was originally shown on BBC Two in the afternoon in the UK. In the past, ‘Doctor Who’ has had three Proms concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London for 2008, 2010 and 2013. Continue reading

One of the things I was looking forward to this year was seeing the stage show of ‘The Lion King’ in Cardiff at the Wales Millennium Centre. Back in July 2019, my parents and I saw Stuart Townend and Cambrensis in Concert at St. David’s Hall in Cardiff. Yesterday, my parents and I saw ‘The Promise of Christmas’ concert at St. David’s Hall. This helped to make me feel Christmassy. On Saturday the 13th of July this year, my parents and I attended ‘Stuart Townend and Cambrensis in Concert’. We had a nice time enjoying the songs and music performed by Stuart Townend, the Cambrensis Choir and Orchestra and the St. David’s Praise Choir. It felt pretty interactive for us too. For the last Wednesday of February, I did a fourth musical presentation at the ‘Newport Nostalgia Music Society’. The first three music presentations I did beforehand were ‘Tim’s Glenn Miller Favourites’ in April 2016; ‘Tim’s Nostalgia Trip’ in December 2016 and ‘Tim’s Film/TV Favourites’ in October 2017.
