I’ve now seen the movie ‘La La Land’ at the cinema this year for January 2017! I greatly enjoyed seeing this film! It’s a modern-day movie musical, but has the classic flavour of some of the movie musical hits from the 1930s, 40s, 50s and 60s! It’s a movie that has jazz music and lots of colour in it! This is the 1976 film of ‘The Likely Lads’, based on the BBC sitcom series, starring James Bolam as Terry and Rodney Bewes as Bob. I enjoyed this film very much and I’m glad that my Dad enjoyed it too, since he was into watching ‘The Likely Lads’ when he was growing up during the 1960s and 70s. Continue reading
