Quick DVD Review – ‘The Rocketeer’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s Spring Bank Holiday Monday in May in the UK today! 🙂

I’ve had two birthday presents from my best mate Stephen this year! Surprisingly, not one of them was a Jim Carrey movie. I’m surprised by that as Stephen usually gets me a Jim Carrey movie for my birthday. What’s the matter with him? Perhaps this’ll be made up for later on with ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’. 😀 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Pokémon Detective Pikachu’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Let’s talk about ‘Pokémon’! Yes, I watched this as a kid in the late 1990s. I was around when the ‘Pokémon’ Game Boys happened as well as the trading card games. I saw the original anime TV show as a kid. I was there when the ‘Pokémon’ madness happened in late 1990s/early 2000s. Live with it! 😀 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Tolkien’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Not many care for biographical films on certain figures of history these days. I say that with the highest respect in regards to the film I’m reviewing here. But it’s a shame many of these biographical films on certain authors of famous works of literature get overlooked when being shown at cinemas. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This week, I saw a re-release of the 1939 film, ‘The Wizard of Oz’ starring Judy Garland, at Showcase Cinemas in Nantgarw, Cardiff. It was great to see the film on the big screen with my parents. My Dad certainly enjoyed it as this was his film and it was nice to see the audience rows decently filled in there. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’m currently away on a little holiday break with my parents in Amroth this April, but here I leave you a little movie review to enjoy! As anticipated, I’ve seen the Disney live-action remake movie of ‘Dumbo’ at the cinema! I wasn’t certain what to make of this film before I went to see it at the cinema. Continue reading

Book Review – ‘Batman’ (Novelization)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve read and reviewed the movie novelization of ‘Batman’, the first from the original ‘Batman’ film series directed by Tim Burton. The novelization is by Craig Shaw Gardner. I enjoyed reading this movie novelization of the 1989 ‘Batman’ film, finding it interesting and comparing what was similar and different from the book to the film. Continue reading
