Movie Review – ‘Marley & Me’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Friday, I saw a movie on Disney+ that was initially released at cinemas in the USA on Christmas Day in December 2008, before it was released at cinemas in the UK at the Glasgow Film Festival in February 2009 (which is odd, come to think about it). This is the comedy-drama film ‘Marley & Me’. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘The Three Musketeers’ (2011)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Friday, I saw the 2011 film adaptation of ‘The Three Musketeers’, directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, which is on Disney+. In 2021, I saw the 1993 film adaptation of ‘The Three Musketeers’, which is also on Disney+. 🙂 I hoped that I would have a pretty fun time checking out the 2011 film. Continue reading

The ‘Top Gun’ Movies

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

‘Top Gun’ used to be the name of my local fish and chip shop before it got renamed. Yes, really! 😀 It’s also the name of two movies I’ve seen recently, starring Tom Cruise. I’ve seen the 1986 film ‘Top Gun’ on Prime Video and the 2022 film ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ at the cinema. They’ve been interesting! Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Back in the 1990s, I used to enjoy watching ‘Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers’, a Disney cartoon show that was shown on some weekends on GMTV in the UK. I know in the USA, they had the TV show shown on weekdays for their ‘Disney Afternoon’ block, but sadly I didn’t have that luxury back then. Continue reading

It’s been a while since I shared thoughts on movie trailers, hasn’t it? This week, we’ve had two trailers for two exciting movies – ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part One’ and ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ – that are coming out soon at the cinema. Let me share my thoughts on these trailers. Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘Becoming Jane’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

So, I was planning to do an updated review on the 2019 film ‘Little Women’ and perhaps do a quick review on the 1994 film adaptation. Sadly, that hasn’t come about with things getting in the way. Thankfully, I can make up for that by doing an in-depth review on the biographical drama film ‘Becoming Jane’, focusing on the early life of Jane Austen. Continue reading

2 Quick Disney+ Reviews – ‘Hidalgo’ & ‘Saving Mr. Banks’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen two films on Disney+ lately, including ‘Hidalgo’ with Viggo Mortensen and ‘Saving Mr. Banks’ with Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks. I thought to share a couple of quick reviews on them. They’re both fascinating films to check out in terms of historical value and with very distinct styles. 🙂 Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘Little Dorrit’ (1987)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here’s my latest review on the 1987 film adaptation of ‘Little Dorrit’, based on the novel by Charles Dickens. The 1987 film adaptation of ‘Little Dorrit’ is a two-part film. Each part is about 3 hours long, which makes this a 6-hour film altogether. You’ll probably want to spend two days watching this particular film. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

For my birthday this year, I saw the latest ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ film at the cinema called ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, starring Benedict Cumberbatch. I had a great time watching this film at the cinema. So much so that I’ve seen it twice already! It was really worthwhile. Continue reading

‘Star Wars’ Week – The Sequels Trilogy

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the last day of ‘Star Wars’ week on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ in May 2022, and we conclude on what is arguably the most divisive of ‘Star Wars’ film trilogies in recent years. It’s up to you whether you like this trilogy or not. I find it pretty average compared to ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘The Book of Boba Fett’. I just hope there’ll be better ‘Star Wars’ movies in future.
