I’m saddened by the news that Julian McMahon (who played Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom in the ‘Fantastic Four’ movies from 2005 to 2007) has passed away recently. 😦 I’ve fond memories and enjoyed Julian’s interpretation of Doctor Doom in the ‘Fantastic Four’ film duology. Continue reading

‘Top Gun’ used to be the name of my local fish and chip shop before it got renamed. Yes, really! 😀 It’s also the name of two movies I’ve seen recently, starring Tom Cruise. I like the Fantastic Four as a Marvel superhero team. I enjoyed reading the 1960s comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby; have enjoyed seeing episodes of their 1990s TV show and love the 2005/2007 movies starring the Fantastic Four. I know not many people will agree with me on that front regarding the 2005/2007 films, but I consider them to be very decent movie adaptations of those 1960s comics. 😀 Continue reading
