Quick Movie Review – ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’ (2011)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

(sighs) The 2011 film ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’. Now before I talk about this movie, I just want to reflect on some of the things I said in my review for ‘Operation Mincemeat’. I think I might have been harsh in my criticisms for it being quite slow-going and not having enough action featured in it. Continue reading

Disney Film Review – ‘Bambi 2’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Today is what would have been my late sister Bethan’s birthday. Recently, my parents and I revisited one of her favourite Disney films – the 1942 film ‘Bambi’ – on Disney+. We also watched the 2006 sequel ‘Bambi 2’, which takes place during the first film where Bambi is a young male deer fawn before he becomes an adult. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Pinocchio’ (2022)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last weekend, I saw the latest Disney live-action remake of ‘Pinocchio’, directed by Robert Zemeckis of ‘Back to the Future’ fame and based on the 1940 animated film of the same name. The film stars Tom Hanks, well-known for voicing Woody in ‘Toy Story’ and for being in 2004’s ‘The Polar Express’. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home – The More Fun Stuff Version’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It turns out I did end up seeing the extended version of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ at the cinema after all. 😀 I’m very pleased I did. After reviewing the theatrical version of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ on my blog, I was keen to see the extended version, containing 11 minutes of new footage. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘The Mummy’ (2017)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Yes, you are reading this correctly. I’ve seen the 2017 film ‘The Mummy’, starring Tom Cruise. Usually, I don’t go for horror films such as this, but it is an action-adventure film too, and since Tom Cruise is in it, I thought it’d be worth checking out. This film has received a lot of hate over the years. Continue reading

The ‘Shrek’ Movies

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Quite recently, I saw a re-release of ‘Shrek 2’ at the cinema. I greatly enjoyed revisiting the film on the big screen since its release in 2004. Therefore, I’ve decided to share an overview of what I think of each of the four ‘Shrek’ films in turn. Hopefully, I’ll do in-depth reviews of the four films in future. Continue reading

Spider-Man at the Movies – ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’

– – BRAND-NEW REVIEW – –

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

How fitting that I’m sharing this brand-new review of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ on Bank Holiday Monday in August in the UK in 2022. Sadly, I won’t be able to see the extended version of ‘No Way Home’ at the cinema in September 2022 as hoped. I hope those of you who are going to see it will enjoy it. 🙂 In the meantime, let’s revisit the theatrical version of ‘No Way Home’, which I’ve seen again on Blu-ray and digitally via Google Play.

Quick Movie Review – ‘No Exit’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Last weekend, I saw the thriller film ‘No Exit’ on Disney+. Arguably, this is a Star film as opposed to a Disney+ film, but ‘No Exit’ was first released on Hulu by 20th Century Studios (I still feel that it should be called 20th Century Fox). Season 3 of ‘The Orville’ was on Hulu first before it was put on Disney+. Continue reading

Spider-Man at the Movies – ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

After ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, the ‘MCU’ Spider-Man‘s journey continued in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avenger: Endgame’. Now we have the second film of the ‘MCU Spider-Man’ series called ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’. In my opinion, this is the weakest out of the three ‘Spider-Man’ movies featuring Tom Holland as the titular superhero character. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘That Darn Cat’ (1997)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, after checking out the 1965 film ‘That Darn Cat!’, which I greatly enjoyed on Disney+, it’s only fair that I check out the 1997 remake of the film called ‘That Darn Cat’, which I’ve also seen on Disney+. It was intriguing to check out 1997’s ‘That Darn Cat’ and I enjoyed the film in a surreal way. Continue reading
