Quick Movie Review – ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’s blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Rian Johnson is a film director I didn’t expect to return to again so soon. 😀 Since I checked out and reviewed ‘Knives Out’ in 2021, it’s only fair that I check out and review the sequel to the 2019 film called ‘Glass Onion’. The film stars Daniel Craig back in his role of the master detective Benoit Blanc. Continue reading

The First Two ‘Avatar’ Movies

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This past week, I’ve seen the first two ‘Avatar’ movies directed by James Cameron. I saw the first ‘Avatar’ movie on DVD, and I saw the second film ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ at the cinema. These have been very enjoyable films to check out, but are these movies for me to get very excited about? Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘The Bishop’s Wife’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Today, I’m sharing my full-length DVD review on a Christmas film I saw on the big screen for a limited re-release at my local cinema back in December 2019. It’s time to take a look at the 1947 film ‘The Bishop’s Wife’, starring Cary Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven. This is a film my parents and I greatly enjoyed. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Disenchanted’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s amazing to think that it’s been 15 years since the film ‘Enchanted’ was made in 2007. I’ve now seen ‘Disenchanted’, the sequel to ‘Enchanted’, which was released on Disney+ in 2022. I’m amazed this film was only released exclusively to Disney+, since it could have had a limited theatrical release. Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ (1994)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As we’re two weeks into December, it’s time for me to share another full-length review on a Christmas film I’ve enjoyed. Let’s take a look at the 1994 film ‘Miracle on 34th Street’. This film has divided quite a lot of opinion over the years, since some consider the original 1947 film to be better than the 1994 remake. 😐

Disney DVD Reviews – ‘The Santa Clause’ Trilogy

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s Christmas time! 🙂 And once again we’re back for some more full-length Christmas-related reviews in December 2022. To start off, let’s talk about ‘The Santa Clause’ trilogy of movies today! And what good timing this is with ‘The Santa Clauses’ series on Disney+. ‘The Santa Clause’ movies star Tim Allen (who voices Buzz Lightyear in the ‘Toy Story’ films) as Scott Calvin/Santa Claus. I’ve enjoyed checking out these movies over the years at Christmas. They’ve been very entertaining in depicting this Disney live-action version of Santa. 🙂

Quick Movie Review – ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen what is, apparently, the final film in Phase Four in the ‘MCU’ and the sequel to the 2018 film ‘Black Panther’. And I haven’t caught up on ‘Ms. Marvel’ and ‘She-Hulk’ on Disney+ yet. 😀 This is ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’. I found it very good and worthwhile to check out at the cinema. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Black Adam’

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

So, I’m going to tell you, I didn’t really know what to expect when it came to checking out ‘Black Adam’ at the cinema. I don’t know that much about Black Adam as a character from the DC superhero universe. I don’t know him well compared to Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. 😐 Continue reading

The ‘Spy Kids’ Movies

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve been wanting to talk about this film series for quite some time, as the ‘Spy Kids’ films mean a lot to me. Well, the first three films more than the fourth film, but we’ll get into that a little more later on. The ‘Spy Kids’ films were created by Robert Rodriguez, who wrote, directed and edited the films. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Robin Hood’ (1973)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Since I’ve reviewed quite a number of ‘Robin Hood’ stories on my blog, including the 1952 film with Richard Todd and of course the Tom and Jerry film, it’s only fair that I review the Disney film from 1973. If you were to ask me if this was my first experience of Robin Hood, then the answer is ‘yes’. 😀 Continue reading
