As we currently go through this tough period of the coronavirus – please keep safe – today, I’ve updated my review on the ‘Doctor Who’ story called ‘The Faceless Ones’, starring Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor, Anneke Wills as Polly, Michael Craze as Ben and Frazer Hines as Jamie. This updated review is based on the 2020 DVD/Blu-ray release featuring new animation episodes that fill in the loss of the original TV episodes that are currently missing from the BBC Archives. I’ve heard and reviewed ‘The Dalek Occupation of Winter’, starring Maureen O’Brien and Peter Purves. This ‘Doctor Who’ audio adventure features the First Doctor, Vicki and Steven against the Daleks. Robert Daws is the story’s special guest star and Nicholas Briggs does the voices for the Daleks in this adventure. This is a pretty good Dalek adventure by David K. Barnes. Continue reading

Just in case you missed it yesterday, I’ve read and heard the novelization/audiobook of the ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘Survival’ by Rona Munro, featuring the Seventh Doctor and Ace. I’m happy I’ve read/heard the novelization/audiobook of this story. ‘Survival’ is read by Lisa Bowerman who played Karra in the TV story as well as Bernice Summerfield in the Big Finish audios of ‘Doctor Who’! 🙂 Continue reading
