Quick Movie Review – ‘Soul’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

If you were to tell me after seeing ‘Toy Story 4’ in 2019 that I would be seeing the Disney/Pixar films ‘Onward’ and ‘Soul’ in 2020, I probably would’ve just shrugged and said, “Maybe, maybe not. I’m not that bothered to see them to be honest.” My, my, how things have changed since 2020 began! 🙂 Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘One Magic Christmas’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

My parents and I saw another Christmas film on Disney+ last Friday. This happened to be the 1985 film ‘One Magic Christmas’, starring Mary Steenburgen and Harry Dean Stanton. This was a fascinating film to see on Disney+, though I don’t think this is the kind of film I’d see again and again. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Noelle’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I saw the Christmas film ‘Noelle’ on Disney+ last Friday. This film was released on Disney+ in November 2019. I enjoyed ‘Noelle’. It’s an intriguing take on the Santa Claus story especially with a young woman becoming Santa. I don’t know if it’s original concept, but it was very entertaining here. Continue reading

After sharing my DVD reviews on Disney‘s ‘Countdown to Christmas’ and after revisiting ‘Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas’ on Disney+, my parents and I revisited another classic Disney cartoon called ‘Pluto’s Christmas Tree’! This was before we saw the Christmas film ‘Noelle’ on Disney+ last Friday. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

After sharing my Disney reviews on the ‘Countdown to Christmas’ DVD last week, my parents and I watched ‘Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas’ on Disney+! I love this anthology film! I used to watch it more than once over the Christmas period when I had it on VHS in the early 2000s. It’s such a treat! Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Togo’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I saw an original Disney+ film on Disney+ last Friday. That happened to be ‘Togo’, a film released in December 2019, focusing on ‘the untold true story’ of Leonhard Seppala and his titular sled dog in the 1925 run to Nome to transport a vaccine through harsh conditions during a diphtheria epidemic. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Tinker Bell’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I’m Tim Bradley!

We know Tinker Bell, don’t we? Or is it Tinkerbell? I don’t know which way to say her name is. Tinker Bell is the little pixie fairy who accompanies Peter Pan on his adventures in Never Land. Again, I’m not sure if it’s Never Land or Neverland. Over the years, I have done a number of Peter Pan reviews. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘The Black Cauldron’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

After seeing two episodes of the 2015 ‘Muppets’ series on Disney+, my parents and I went into seeing a 1985 Disney movie called ‘The Black Cauldron’ via the same streaming service. I have been resisting this movie for quite some time, but after all these years, I’ve finally seen it. Was it worth it? Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘The Sword in the Stone’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

A lot of us know about the legends of King Arthur as depicted in the books by T. H. White. I’ve seen it portrayed a few times on film and TV, including the ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘Battlefield’ and the movie ‘The Kid Who Would Be King’. But my first experience of Arthurian legend was at a really young age. Continue reading
