DVD Review – ‘Patrick’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This is a film I didn’t expect to come back to very soon! For my Dad’s birthday today, I’ve done a full-length review on the comedy film ‘Patrick’. This was released at cinemas for a short time in the UK in June 2018. And it was shown for the first time in the USA in…February 2019…for some reason! Huh? Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Back in December 2015, I reviewed the ‘Shaun the Sheep Movie’ on DVD and ‘Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas’ on TV. It’s nice to go back to this again! Shaun the Sheep was first introduced in ‘Wallace & Gromit’ in the short film called ‘A Close Shave’. Shaun has been popular over the years! 😀 Continue reading

‘Dad’s Army’ Radio Series – Series 3 REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

The 2019 remake of the three lost ‘Dad’s Army’ episodes from Series 2 were broadcast in August this year. I was pretty excited by this! Sadly I haven’t seen the remade lost episodes of ‘Dad’s Army’ since I don’t have the GOLD channel on my TV. Hopefully, the 2019 remake of the lost ‘Dad’s Army’ episodes will be on DVD soon. In the meantime, I’ve recently completed my reviews on Series 3 of the ‘Dad’s Army’ radio series. Continue reading

Convention Report – ‘Film & Comic Con Glasgow 2019’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I had a fantastic time last weekend at the ‘Film & Comic Con Glasgow 2019’ at the Braehead Arena. This was a two-day event from Saturday the 17th to Sunday the 18th of August. I saw my favourite ‘Doctor Who’ stars at the comic con – Sarah Sutton (who played Nyssa with Peter Davison), Sophie Aldred (who played Ace with Sylvester McCoy) and Katy Manning (who played Jo with Jon Pertwee). Continue reading

Convention Report – ‘Film & Comic Con Cardiff 2019’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve had another exciting weekend since I attended the ‘Film & Comic Con Cardiff’ from the 9th to the 10th of March in 2019! This for me was the second of two comic con weekends in March and the event was closer to home. In the first weekend of March, I attended the ‘London Comic Con Spring’. Continue reading

Movie Review – ‘Stan & Ollie’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen the movie ‘Stan & Ollie’ at the cinema and thoroughly enjoyed it. I found it a heartfelt biographical account of my favourite comedy duo, Laurel & Hardy. The film remained true to the spirit of the comedic atmosphere the duo had whilst also depicting what they seemed to be like in real-life. Continue reading
