DVD/Blu-ray Special Features Reviews – ‘Messages From Space’, ‘Look Who’s Driving’ & ‘Let’s Go Dutch’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

In case you missed it yesterday, I’ve updated my review on ‘The Five Doctors’, the seventh and final story of Season 20 in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. In doing so, I’ve updated my review on ‘Messages From Space’, a DVD special feature included on the ‘Doctor Who Magazine’ 40th anniversary disc for ‘The Collection’ range of classic ‘Doctor Who’ Blu-ray box sets. This is now included on Disc 8 of the Season 20 Blu-ray box set containing the 40th anniversary edition version of ‘The Five Doctors’. I’ve shared my review of it on the ‘Logopolis’ page, as that special feature was originally meant for that TV story.

I’ve also shared brand-new reviews on two Blu-ray special features, including ‘Look Who’s Driving’ with Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton and Janet Fielding where they’re on a road trip to the ‘TimeLash’ convention in Germany in October 2019. There’s also ‘Let’s Go Dutch’ with Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton, Janet Fielding and Mark Strickson, where they take a trip to Amsterdam in July 2022. These are included on Disc 9 of the Season 20 Blu-ray box set containing the 1995 Special Edition version of ‘The Five Doctors’. I’ve added my reviews on these special features on ‘The Five Doctors’ page itself.

As well as my updated review on ‘The Five Doctors’ and my brand-new reviews on ‘Look Who’s Driving’ and ‘Let’s Go Dutch’, there’s my slightly updated review on the ‘Doctor Who – The Five Doctors’ Target novelization/audiobook by Terrance Dicks, read by Jon Culshaw with Nicholas Briggs as the voices of the Daleks and the Cybermen. There’s also the alternative scene I’ve written for ‘The Five Doctors’ featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Adric.

Please feel free to check out, read and comment on my reviews on ‘Messages From Space’, ‘Look Who’s Driving’ and ‘Let’s Go Dutch’ as the rest of my reviews on ‘Logopolis’ and ‘The Five Doctors’ by clicking on the page links.

Enjoy!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
