DVD/Blu-ray Special Features Reviews – ‘Who Wants to Live Forever?’ & ‘Finding Mark Strickson’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

In case you missed it on Monday, I’ve updated my review on ‘Mawdryn Undead’, the third story of Season 20 in the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series and the first story of ‘The Black Guardian Trilogy’ in the Peter Davison/Fifth Doctor era. In doing so, I’ve shared a brand-new review on the ‘Who Wants to Live Forever?’ making-of documentary on ‘Mawdryn Undead’, featuring behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast and crew, including Peter Davison, Nicholas Courtney, Mark Strickson, David Collings, script editor Eric Saward, etc. I’ve also shared a brand-new review on the ‘Finding Mark Strickson’ featurette with Mark Strickson.

‘Who Wants to Live Forever?’ is available on the ‘Mawdryn Undead’ DVD in ‘The Black Guardian Trilogy’ DVD box set and on Disc 3 of the Season 20 Blu-ray box set as part of ‘The Collection’ range. ‘Finding Mark Strickson’ is available on Disc 2 of the ‘Enlightenment’ 2-disc DVD set in ‘The Black Guardian Trilogy’ DVD box set and on Disc 3 of the Season 20 Blu-ray box set. I’ve added my reviews on ‘Who Wants to Live Forever?’ and ‘Finding Mark Strickson’ to the ‘Mawdryn Undead’ page. As well as my updated review on ‘Mawdryn Undead’ and my brand-new reviews on ‘Who Wants to Live Forever?’ and ‘Finding Mark Strickson’, there’s my slightly updated review on the ‘Doctor Who – Mawdryn Undead’ Target novelization/audiobook by Peter Grimwade, read by David Collings, and my review on Issue #110 of ‘Doctor Who Magazine’, which features an interview with Sarah Sutton.

Please feel free to check out, read and comment on my reviews on the ‘Who Wants to Live Forever?’ making-of documentary and the ‘Finding Mark Strickson’ featurette as well as the rest of my reviews on ‘Mawdryn Undead’ by clicking on the page link.

Enjoy!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
