Basement Update – Season 20 of ‘Doctor Who’ on Blu-ray & ‘Neptune Connect’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Just a quick update for today and to let you know what’s going to be happening in the next month or so. For the past couple of months in 2025, I’ve been updating my reviews on Season 20 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV show with Peter Davison, which I’ve enjoyed.

Unfortunately, me updating my reviews on Season 20 of classic ‘Doctor Who’ has been rather slow-going due to me being busy with other stuff as well as finding myself extending the reviews more than I anticipated with extra thoughts to say about the stories I’ve enjoyed.

I’ve also added brand-new reviews on some special features transferred from the original DVD releases of some of those stories to the Season 20 Blu-ray box set. I’ve also proof-read and updated my reviews on the Target novelizations/audiobooks of those TV stories.

At present, I’ve yet to update my reviews on ‘Enlightenment’, ‘The King’s Demons’ and ‘The Five Doctors’ in the Season 20 Blu-ray box set. To complicate matters, I’ve two conventions to look forward to in Birmingham and London for the next few weeks and I want to focus on preparing for those.

So, in order to speed things up a bit, I’ve decided to share the first half of my updated reviews on Season 20 of ‘Doctor Who’ early. Starting next week, I’ll be sharing my reviews on the first four stories of Season 20 on a weekly basis rather than do it all in one week. 🙂

For the first week, it’ll be ‘Arc of Infinity’, the second week, it’ll be ‘Snakedance’, the third week, it’ll be ‘Mawdryn Undead’ and for the fourth week, it’ll be ‘Terminus’. Hopefully for the next month or so, I’ll be flexible with how I conduct my time on ‘Bradley’s Basement’.

I don’t know when I’ll be sharing the second half of my updated reviews of Season 20 of ‘Doctor Who’. Hopefully, I imagine it’ll be for the middle of May or the beginning of June. Rest assured, I’ll be sharing the rest of my updated reviews on Season 20 sooner before I know it.

Another thing to mention is that because of me updating my reviews on Season 20 of ‘Doctor Who’, my uploading of the next Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy story ‘Neptune Connect’ has been a bit slow-going. I hoped I’d be sharing the complete story in April or May.

At present, I’m nearly finished with setting up ‘Part Two’ of the story, but I don’t think I’ll be able to complete the upload of the full story in time for April or May this year with me updating my Season 20 ‘Doctor Who’ reviews and getting ready for two conventions. 😐

So, again, in order to speed things up, I’ll be sharing the rest of ‘Part One’ and all of ‘Part Two’ of ‘Neptune Connect’ in the week after I’ve shared my updated ‘Terminus’ review. Hopefully, I’ll have more of the story edited, proof-read and quality-checked for uploading on my blog by then.

This isn’t an ideal situation, but with everything being so busy at my end, I don’t want to keep everyone waiting with what I want to share on my blog, including updated and brand-new reviews and brand-new ‘Doctor Who’ stories featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy.

Hopefully, this will improve the way I do things on my blog from now on. I hope I can get on with sharing the latest reviews I want to share and the latest stories I want to share. I also hope to share brand-new thoughts on films and ‘Doctor Who’ TV stories coming out soon.

I’m currently looking forward to seeing Series 15 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series with Ncuti Gatwa, Varada Sethu and Millie Gibson from April to May this year. Hopefully, I can share some quick video reactions on my blog before I can get onto sharing my in-depth reviews. 🙂

Thank you for your patience and continued support on my blog. Stay tuned for my updated review on ‘Arc of Infinity’ to be shared next week.

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim 🙂
