Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s time for me to share a third YouTube video that I discovered on fifthdoctor‘s channel recently. Today, I’m sharing the chaotic highlights of ‘The Doctor Who Cookbook Revisited’ documentary, which can be seen on the Season 23 Blu-ray box set of ‘Doctor Who’ in ‘The Collection’ range. 😀
Specifically, this video contains highlights of the first recipe being shown in ‘The Doctor Who Cookbook Revisited’, which is Janet Fielding’s Ocker Balls. The video has Toby Hadoke helping Janet Fielding and Sarah Sutton out with cooking Janet’s Ocker Balls recipe from the cookbook. 🙂
I’ve shared my review on ‘The Doctor Who Cookbook’ by Gary Downie as well as shared reviews on ‘The Doctor Who Cookbook Revisited’ and the three bonus recipes ‘Kipper of Traken’, ‘Dalek Soup’ and ‘Lasagne’. I’m hoping to cook another lasagne based on Sarah Sutton’s recipe soon. 😀
Anyway, enjoy the video! 😀
Thanks for reading and watching!
Bye for now!
Tim 🙂

“Never argue with a woman with a knife.”
– Very powerful words by Sarah Sutton.
Thank you for sharing, Tim.

Hi scifimike,
Yes, very powerful words said by Sarah. I’m glad she’s the sensible one since Janet was wielding that knife without looking. 😆 The ‘Kipper of Traken’ and ‘Lasagne’ reciepes are definitely my favourites from ‘The Doctor Who Cookbook’. I also found it funny when Janet’s toque fell off her head.
Here’s a bonus video from ‘The Doctor Who Cookbook Revisited’ featuring Colin Baker, Nicola Bryant and Toby Hadoke.
Enjoy!

Ha! Oh, that’s marvellous and very on brand. The first recipe of the video and — we’re not doing that, we’re doing something better (sending the narrator into a mild panic). I need to make a Doctor Pleasecake. That sounds fabulous.
I didn’t know that bit about Colin being popular in Scandinavia. I wonder…

Hi Wolfie,
Glad you enjoyed the video with Colin Baker, Nicola Bryant and Toby Hadoke. I found it funny when India Fisher panicked once Nicola decided not to do the cheesecake reciepe at all. To think the lady who played Charley Pollard and narrated ‘Master Chef’ would go on to narrate ‘The Doctor Who Cookbook Revisited’ and its three bonus reciepes. I liked it when Nicola showed her ‘this is what I made earlier’ version of the Doctor Pleasecake. A pity that didn’t happen with the Kipper of Traken reciepe.
Colin Baker is on fine form throughout the video, especially when he got Toby to do the cooking instead. 😆 Yeah, interesting tidbits about Colin’s popularity in Scandinavia, especially concerning his role in ‘The Brothers’ and gaining the inspiration to do his Doctor’s Temptation reciepe there.
Many thanks for your comments.
Best wishes,
Tim 🙂
