Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here we are on the third instalment of ‘The Sunfire Chronicles’ of ‘Doctor Who’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. The first ‘Sunfire’ story was ‘The Horns of Wulfe’, featuring the Fourth Doctor, Private James Darby and Bazoon ‘Bazooie’ the Miggie. The second ‘Sunfire’ story was ‘Romance and the Cow Creamer’, featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy Walker. Today’s third ‘Sunfire’ story is ‘The Race of Endurance’, featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan Jovanka and Michael Anderson.

On ‘Bradley’s Basement’, ‘The Race of Endurance’ is part of ‘The Fifth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ series as well as my ‘Short Trips’ collection. It’s also a story that’s part of another ‘Fifth Doctor’ series by WilliamsFan92 (Xavier Downey), which is on his blog. WF92 has shared the first story of his ‘Fifth Doctor’ series featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan and Michael called ‘Siroto’. ‘The Race of Endurance’ takes place during Michael’s travels in the TARDIS with the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Tegan. I’ve also included cameos of Tegan and Michael from WF92’s ‘Fifth Doctor’ series in my 60th anniversary story called ‘The Thirteen+ Doctors’.

In ‘The Race of Endurance’, Tegan and Michael take part in an outer space race in the Eniotato Circuit in the Second Outer Galaxy. They discover Becceri of Sarfenia, who has stowed away aboard their space pod and is still being pursued by Wulfe the Sontaran headhunter. Michael Anderson is an experienced motor racing driver. But can he do well in a space pod race? He hopes so with Tegan as his co-driver. Thing go awry, as Becceri has stowed away aboard their space pod. Will the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa save Tegan, Michael and Becceri from Wulfe the Sontaran?
