This is ‘Rise of the Cybermen’/’The Age of Steel’ by Tom MacRae, and it’s a pretty compelling story where I got introduced to the Cybermen in 2006 and found them terrifying on my first watch. 😀 In the story, David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor, Billie Piper as Rose and Noel Clarke as Mickey end up in a parallel universe. There’s also Roger Lloyd-Pack as John Lumic – the head of Cybus Industries and the creator of the new Cybermen on parallel Earth. 😮 ‘Rise of the Cybermen’/’The Age of Steel’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and BBC iPlayer.
