I’ve heard and reviewed ‘Daughter of the Gods’, starring Peter Purves, Frazer Hines and Wendy Padbury. This ‘Doctor Who’ audio adventure is a multi-Doctor story featuring the First Doctor, the Second Doctor, Jamie, Zoe, Steven and Katarina. Ajjaz Awad stars as Katarina and Nicholas Briggs does the voices of the Daleks in this adventure. I’m glad I’ve heard this adventure by David K. Barnes. Continue reading

I enjoyed watching Series 5, Episode 2 of ‘Grantchester’ last night. It was another enjoyable episode that combined both character drama as well as a murder mystery. It’s interesting how ‘Grantchester’ does that in one hour of TV compared to other murder mysteries that have 2 hours to tell the story. Continue reading

The ‘Beethoven’ movies are family films about a St. Bernard dog who has adventures and causes chaos for the Newton family. The fourth and fifth films are the first time I’ve seen them on DVD. There’s a lot of ‘Star Trek’ coming out lately. We’ve had two seasons of ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ on Netflix and the new show ‘Star Trek: Picard’ is due to come out soon on Amazon Prime Video on the 23rd of January 2020.
