It’s time to check out ‘Aladdin Time’ by Paul Magrs, the third ‘Serpent Crest’ story in ‘The Nest Cottage Chronicles’ of ‘Doctor Who’, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor and Susan Jameson as Mrs. Wibbsey. The story also features Guy Harvey as Aladdin, Sophie Ward as the Storyteller, Terrence Hardiman as the Gryphon, Andrew Sachs as the Scarf, Simon Shepherd as the Magician and Su Douglas as the Toad. Will this ‘Doctor Who’ adventure be a good take on the ‘Aladdin’ story compared to the 1992 and 2019 Disney films? 😀 Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘Little Dorrit’ (1987)

Here’s my latest review on the 1987 film adaptation of ‘Little Dorrit’, based on the novel by Charles Dickens. The 1987 film adaptation of ‘Little Dorrit’ is a two-part film. Each part is about 3 hours long, which makes this a 6-hour film altogether. You’ll probably want to spend two days watching this particular film. 🙂 Continue reading
